| ABOUT THE AUTHOR: |
|
Dr. D. L. Teamor was born and raised in the Metro Detroit
Area and is the daughter of Karlan Diane Teamor and Reverend
Jameson Leonard Teamor; and mother of her "miracle baby,"
Leonard Jameson Teamor. She is an ordained minister,
educator, poet and playwright; and is pleased to have begun
her formal literary career after years of reciting at
Detroit Coffeehouses such as Cafe Mahogany, Black World and
Coffee and Cream, as well as with the Poets of Pitch Black
Poetry. She gives all thanks and praise to Jesus Christ, and
knows that she has been tremendously blessed because of Him.
She lives daily by her favorite Scripture, "Be careful
for nothing, but in all things, through prayer and
supplication and with thanksgiving, make your requests known
unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7. |
