Description: Coming Into My Own and Removing the Mask is about
some of the many revelations I had as I made the journey toward finding
and appreciating my true self. As I approached my forties, I had an
urgent desire to remove the various masks I had unconsciously begun to
wear in my twenties and thirties. Many women feel this shift in their
lives as they approach their fortieth year. Every day we all
unknowingly, some knowingly, don a mask and become inauthentically
authentic. In doing this, we each sacrifice our integrity. Through a
process of self-reflection and introspection, I slowly but surely made
the transformation of coming into my own and essentially changed my
life. The journey has been phenomenal. |
