In 2001 against the advice of many, Whitney walked away from a promising career with one of Denver's oldest Law Firms, Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor & Pascoe, P.C. after discovering he could no longer afford to ignore the shadow that had been following him for years: his childhood.   Inspired by the process to write, his first book, 'Dad Under Construction' was born.

Whitney Traylor, Esq. received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Morehouse College and his law degree from Emory Law School.  He recently established the Colorado Morehouse Alumni Club to provide assistance to other Morehouse College bound students, PapaPalooza: A Celebration of Father's and Children and is in the process of establishing other events to benefit the community.   In addition to maintaining his law firm, Traylor Law Group, Whitney is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver and Metropolitan State College.
