Mama Saves A Victim finds Mama’s daughter Simone at center stage, distraught after hitting a woman with her car one night in downtown Atlanta. Yet Simone is even more plagued by the woman’s words as she lies flat on the pavement: “This ain’t nothing like what’s going to happen to me if I don’t get away from this place!”

The mysterious victim is soon kidnapped from the hospital, and Simone finds herself haunted by visions of a man’s face and the pungent smell of lye…but can’t figure out why. Simone probes the community with Mama’s help and learns about the woman’s long-lost father, a secret trust fund and the murderous nightmare of her own past.
