I just want to give my props to Ms. Wahida Clark. Truly an outstanding author. The imagery is on point. I feel as though I know each of her characters personally, and I can feel their every emotion. I haven't truly sat down and read a whole book in more than 5 years, but when my girl brought over Thugs and the Women That Love Them and Every Thug Needs a Lady, I read both books in literally less than two days. I really enjoyed the book, it took you into the real world of the drug game, you could feel the intensity in her writing. The characters were real, Trae and Kaylin saw what they wanted and pursued it relentlessly, women and their exit from "the life". I smiled, laughed and was saddened as I read the book. Goes to show you too, that even smart girls fall in love with people who others look down on even themselves. I can't wait for the next book to be penned, Wahida hold it down girl, you have a talent and it's not going to waste.

Thugs and the Women Who Loved them and Every Thug Needs a Lady was off the chart; Oh My God; I have read many books but nothing in this caliber; I could not put them down, My sista has it going on; she is in a class by herself and I am truly awaiting part III.- Philly Wanda
The women of the ROP Center of the Chicago Tribune, truly enjoyed reading both of Wahida Clark's books, "Thugs" And The Women Who Loved Them" and "Every Thug Needs A Lady". We admire her strength. Not too many people live to tell the story. We are waiting on pins and needles for the third novel "Don't Knock Tha Hustle". I've been calling the book stores every week. Her books caught my eye as soon as I walked a little distance in the Afro centric book store, located in De Paul University building. I read the first ten pages, of the first book, standing in the store.
May God continue to bless her and may she continue to write, not just for pleasurable reading, but to inspire younger children to want to read more.

I really enjoyed reading this books [PART 1 AND PART2] as soon as i read part1 one i just had to get part2 wahida you are my girl but what i really wanna know is what happened in the end of every thugs need a lady you are the best writer out there you keep on doing what you doing i just pray and hope to god that you come out with part three -SIRBLUE123
Ms. Clark; You are off the chain with this sequel. I had to let you know you can't write them fast enough for me. Where do I keep watch for the date and time of the 3rd edition. I want to get mine hot off the press. Your hot,raw and uncut version of a life stlye I knew nothing about is the bomb.One question is Trae dead? Who is snake? Is ther another book of your I missed? These two books really WOWED me! Talk about feeling a story these are the real deal. I felt as if I was there. What really knocked me is " I would have loved the thugs as the characters did! Whahida this is your calling to write books that touch the soul. I am eagerly awaiting part 3. It is said that Vicki Stringer is the "hustler" I give her that but, you are the true player's girl.
